Who is responsible

This website is operated by Claude Lenert, 18, rue Widdem, L-5433 Niederdonven, Luxembourg (e-mail: cl(at)lx1lc.lu). It is a private, non-commercial website. I take the protection of your personal data seriously and process it in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Server log files

The hosting provider automatically stores information that your browser transmits when you visit this website: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring page, browser type and operating system. This data is needed to operate the website securely and is deleted by the provider after a limited period. It is not combined with other data.

Visitor counter

The home page shows how many visitors came from which country. For this purpose, the country is determined from your IP address on my own server. The IP address itself is not stored. To count each visitor only once per day, an anonymised value is kept until the end of the day and then deleted. No data is passed on to third parties, and no cookies are used for this.

Online QSL card retrieval

To retrieve a QSL card you enter your call-sign and locator. These are compared with my logbook. Each retrieval is recorded with date, time, call-sign, locator and the QSOs selected, so that I can see which cards have been issued. This record is not published or passed on.

Logbook data

This website displays contacts from my amateur radio logbook: call-sign, date, band, mode, locator and country of the stations I have worked. This information is exchanged on the air as part of the amateur radio service. If you do not want your call-sign to appear here, please send me an e-mail and I will remove it.

Content from other providers

Some pages load content from external servers, which technically requires your IP address to be transmitted to them:

- map images and software libraries for the propagation map (OpenStreetMap, Esri, jsDelivr, unpkg)

- reception data from wspr.live

- [YouTube, if a live video is embedded]

These providers are responsible for their own data processing.

This website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. [Technically necessary cookies may be set by the website software.]
